Awaad Alzboon has over 30 years of practical experience in intellectual property rights enforcement and related legal matters, with extensive expertise in corporate law, contracts and agreements, anti-money laundering, and economic legislation.
He has worked with prominent institutions in Jordan and the UAE, including the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Companies Control Department, and served as a Legal Advisor at the UAE Ministry of Economy in the Intellectual Property and Economic Legislation Sector from 2009 to 2022.
Throughout his career, he has advised companies, government entities, and individuals across the Middle East on intellectual property protection, legislation, and policies. He has also provided legal training and consultations, contributed to the development and review of legislation, and served as a member of the Economic Legislation Committee at the UAE Ministry of Economy.
His extensive expertise has enabled him to play a key role in resolving intellectual property disputes, handling IP cases, and contributing to the development of trademark legislation.
